Where Your Money Goes

Every dollar donated to the California Historical Artillery Society goes towards things like horse care, equipment maintenance, transportation, and business expenses. Our horses get the largest portion of these donations for their food and care. CHAS, as a 501(c)(3), works completely off of donations and has NO paid staff. Our members are volunteers and work very hard at maintaining the equipment and taking care of the horses so to provide the public with a unique historical portrayal not seen very many places. It is challenging keeping a large herd of ex-racehorses! But the good news is, you can help out! So when Buster needs his hooves trimmed or Gwen needs her teeth floated, you can feel good knowing that you were able to contribute to their needs!
